My studio set up {Melbourne newborn photographer}

I'm now available for newborn shoots either at my studio or at your own home.  If you would love to have images of your tiny newborn curled up and sleepy, these photographs are captured best in the first two weeks, preferably between 5-10 days old. So best time to contact me is when you are still pregnant! Call 0424 080 565 or email me@sannagriffin.com.au for bookings. (Gift vouchers are available too for an unique and memorable baby present).

Here are few of my favourites from little Sofia's shoot - she came to test my studio and was just a delight to photograph:

My first "watch me grow" baby turns 1 - Melbourne child photography

One of the products that I'm really really pumped about is my "watch me grow"- package. It includes three photoshoots during babys first 12 months and really captures the importants milestones.

My first "watch me grow" baby has turned 1! And as I'm ordering the last batch of her prints I'm feeling bit sad - no more photoshoots with this family (for little while). I have truly enjoyed the experience and will miss those little dear faces for sure. The kids have also got to know me and by the 3rd shoot kids (and parents!) knew excatly what to expect and so we created many beautiful images together.

Interested to book "watch me grow" package? Please call me (0424080565) - I would love capture your babys journey through the first 12 months.

The package includes:

- 3 photoshoots over 12 month period
- 24 birth announcement cards
- one 7x10" matted print from each shoot
- five digital images from each shoot
- digital gallery to share with friends and family

Book before Sept 30th and get this package for $590 (normally $650).

Melbourne family photography

Here is a family session to inspire you: lots of excitement and fun with the family cargo bike (helmets removed for photographs) and then climbing trees. I love the images that we created that morning.

How would you like your family to be photographed?

Call me to discuss further 0424 080 565

My Baby is turning 4!

Oh my time flies when you are having fun .. can't believe my little boy is four already. I took few birthday portraits and we played "which one would you choose" while taking photos:

Me: "so which one you would be if you had to choose: Superman or Batman?"
Master 4: "Batmaaan!"
Me: "cat or dog?"
Master 4: "Doggy .. whoof"
Me: "gingerbread or bisquit"
Master 4: "gingerbread .. yum! Can we make some today?"
Me: "vanilla or chocolate?"
Master 4: "Chocolate"
Me: "three or four year old?"
Master 4: "FOUR!!!!"

Love him to bits xoxo

Love is in the air - Melbourne engagement photographer

Seems so suitable to share this session on valentines day! Amy and Ash received a gift voucher as an engagement present last year (what a great idea!!) and we finally managed to schedule it in. Amy wanted to have a beach session so off we went to beach on a 40 degree day trying to find the perfect location. And so we did - such a fun session that started early evening and finished after sunset.

Amy and Ash - big thanks for being awesome, relaxed and so full of love. You deserve all the happiness in life. I look forward hearing about your big day later this year.

Happy New Year - Melbourne family photographer

Happy new year! My summer holiday is officially over and as much as I have enjoyed it I'm really keen to get back to work. I need to start working on a new website and packages (very excited!). Also have quite bit of admin to do to get things bit more organised around here. But also look forward booking sessions and start shooting.

As much as I enjoy capturing our family life on camera I have had to put the camera down and be present in the moment instead of looking at everything through the lense. So didn't take as many photos these holidays as I anticipated but really enjoyed the family time together.

We have been swimming a lot so it was easy to decide which photo to share with you.

How have you started the new year? Do you have any interesting projects on your "to do" list in 2014?
